Anchor Barrow is a family run campsite on the outskirts of Perranporth, a seaside resort town on the north coast of Cornwall. Our family is made up of Tony (The Local Butcher), Levi, our two favourite small people Rex and Norah and our four-legged friends Angus & Ralph.

We had a vision to build a campsite on our family’s farming land with stunning views over the Cornish landscape. The site offers proper field camping and a relaxed atmosphere. Our site and location make us an idyllic campsite for walkers, surfers, families and groups.

2025 Bookings Open 1st November 2024! All bookings made before Jan 2025 we be at the 2024 price.

Our family-run campsite near Perranporth is perfect for couples, families and groups. With a glorious setting overlooking the Cornish countryside, Anchor Barrow is also the ideal place for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer, including its stunning coastline.

Spring is here at last and not long now until we open the fields for our 2025 camping season. We love to welcome back our returning campers and also look forward to meeting those that haven’t been before.

These are a few of the most frequently asked questions I get asked;

•Do you allow fire pits? - Yes we do,you can either bring your own or hire one from the onsite shop.🔥

• Can we bring our dog? - We love dogs at Anchor Barrow, we even have a dog paddock where you can let them off the lead for a good run.🐕‍🦺

• How far is it to the beach? - It’s about a 25 minute walk either on the beautiful coastal path or on one of the two footpaths from the campsite. 🏖️

• Is there anywhere to get food & drink onsite? - We serve coffee & breakfast every morning and host feast nights 4 evenings a week. The Barrow Bar is fully stocked with Cornish products including draught ale, lager & ciders. 🍺

Another meet the team. Although Tom hasn't officially worked with us before we have know him for a few years. We consider Tom to be a well established member of the AB Family.

Tom will be taking the lead on the Bar this year.

Hi I’m Tom, (I can only hear this in 50 First Dates style 🤣)

This will be my fourth season at Anchor Barrow, but first as part of the team.

Three years ago I showed up at the campsite in my red campervan and since then it feels like I never really left (whether that was the flat tire or the AB charm I’ll let you decide!).

You’ll usually find me on a padel court, running along the coastal path or at The Barrow Bar 🍻

Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones alike this summer.
